Vincent Munanira Kirenga is the Corporate Procurement Specialist at the Rwanda Green Fund,
As the Corporate Procurement Specialist, Kirenga plays a key role in managing fund's procurement operations by ensuring effective implementation of procurement plans, contracts management as well as contractor's management. In a day-to-say activities he ensures that approved purchases are cost-efficient and of high quality and also ensures that ethical procurement procedures are followed (as per government procurement law and donor's guidelines) and systems are maintained to support effective decision making for the fund.
Before joining the Fund, Kirenga worked for Gender Monitoring Office (GMO) where he managed procurement office for 4 years and prior to GMO he worked for 2 years for Alight Rwanda (former American Refugee Committee-Rwanda Program) assigned to support procurement operations of two refugee camps (Nyabiheke and Gihembe) plus Kigali HQ purchases.
He holds an MSc in procurement and logistics in Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) and Bsc of Business Administration major in Public Procurement Management from University of Rwanda (UR) College of Business and Economics.
