Alex M. Karuhanga is the Project Audit analyst of the Rwanda Green Fund where he plays a key role to provide independent, objective assurance and consulting services designed to add value and improve the Fund's operations as well as helping the Fund to accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, compliance, and governance processes. 

Prior to this appointment, he worked as Internal Auditor Specialist. Before, he also worked with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation as Internal Auditor, he was in charge of Audit at the Ministry level and all Rwanda Embassies & High Commissions abroad.

Alex holds a Master's degree in Business Administration. He also holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from National University of Rwanda. He is a member of Institute of Internal Auditors Rwanda.
