Felicien Bamporineza
Chief Finance Officer

Felicien Bamporineza is a seasoned finance professional with over seven years of experience in financial services and investment practices. He holds a Bachelors in Economics, Master's Degree in Finance from Queen University in Canada and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). He is the first recipient of the CFA since 2016 and the third Rwandan to ever attain it. He is also an active member of the CFA Institute-USA, CFA Society-East Africa and CFA society New York and Funding member of Rwanda Angel Investing.

Felicien is currently the Chief Finance Officer at Rwanda Green Fund, where he leads Fund project management by conducts financial analysis to inform strategic investment decisions, establishes effective systems and processes, leads project implementation in line to M&E framework, and leads fund investment activities that comply with risk management framework of the fund.

Previously, he worked as a Senior Financial Analyst and reporting at the National Bank of Rwanda, where he conducted macro forecasting and made recommendations for reserve portfolio allocations. He also worked as an Investment Analyst at Queen University Alternative Fund, conducting detailed investment analysis, incorporating ESG/sustainability factors, and presenting portfolio valuation reports to the investment committee.
